Our Story
After more than two decades in software development and technical leadership, I founded Catalypt with a clear mission: to help businesses harness the transformative power of AI without getting lost in the technical complexities.
Catalypt was founded by Joshua Butler, who has spent the past two decades bridging the gap between innovative research and practical business applications. With extensive experience in software development, hardware integration, and startup leadership, combined with studies in electrical engineering, medical devices, and process optimization, he identified a critical gap in the market:

Organizations were intrigued by AI but felt overwhelmed by its complexity, threatened by its scope and power in the hands of competitors, and uncertain where to begin.
Determined to address this gap, we combined our founder's background in software development, research & development, startup leadership, and cutting-edge AI research to launch Catalypt. Our experience leading technical teams and developing innovative solutions across multiple industries provided the perfect foundation for this venture.

Our Journey
Catalypt's journey began with our founder's more than 20 years of experience as an engineer and technical leader. Building on a strong foundation in software development, firmware, hardware integration, and manufacturing, we developed specialized fractional CTO and technology advisory skills while working with industry leader Lior Weinstein at CTOx.
Our path evolved naturally from a deep interest in the transformative potential of large language models (LLMs) for enterprise applications. We began developing training programs that helped organizations understand and implement AI solutions tailored to their specific needs. As these offerings gained traction, we identified the industries with the greatest need and customized our approach for the unique workflows and concerns specific to each sector.
